Ever read Mark Yaconelli? I (accidently) went to one of his seminars and came back with a very different view on recruiting/keeping volunteers, a lot along the same lines as you’re going! It’s an amazing journey – God bless you as you take it!

Yea it has been a while since I’ve blogged. The main reason is that it’s been a busy season and I knew I needed to put more energy into building LifeKids then my blog. Planning on getting back into it soon but might do things a little differently. watch this space!

I’ve been on something of an organization kick lately, but mine was directed toward my children’s ministry supply closet. You wouldn’t believe the amount of construction paper, sparkles, and other fun craft supplies that I came across—along with some pretty great activity ideas that I had totally forgotten about! You’ve inspired me…my filing cabinet is next.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve loved bubbles. I’ve been trying to come up with some ways to incorporate bubbles into my children’s ministry classes, as I know that the younger kids will love playing with them. Thanks for the great ideas that you shared in your blog post! I particularly liked the idea of using bubbles to break the ice with new students.
